Has anyone been to the maldive?

Question

me and my husband to be is going to the maldives islands for our honeymoon but one of my customers started to tell me that her friend was there and something about spiders and when she see my face she stopped,i kept asking her to tell me but she wouldnt, please someone tell me is there big spiders or small is there loads and is there anything i can do to prevent them from our hut we are staying in? i totally hate them i have a big fear of them help!!!!

am in Maldives currently and I seen no spiders... Might help if you can find out exactly where your friend stayed ... maldives is not one place but clusters of many islands and some of them miles and miles away ... so really depends on where you will be staying ... altogether I would say that you would enjoy your holiday ... its hot weather so carry plenty of summer wear ...
