Has anyone been to the mud vulcano near Cartagena?

Question

Is it worth the trip? Is it suitable for young children (age 3 1/2)? Or would we be better to just stick to touring/shopping in Cartagena?

Hey...I've never been in the mud vulcano, i probably go in january, but i am pretty sure it worth the trip going to Cartagena...i am telling you...Cartagena is really beautiful...you will love it.

i did not go to vulcano.   i would go if organized tour / with other tourists.  

cartagena is quite poor  / has some criminal elements .  For awhile , cruise ships would not even stop there , as tourists were getting mugged in the downtown port area.  

I think that a tour would be nicer than the shopping for kids .   But i'd be sure that I went with a good reputable company.

I have been there many times because i am from Cartagena, i really enjoy a lot when i go, is really nice, you have a great time there on the top of the volcan.  Go, just go and you will see how nice is it.
