Has anyone been to the offbroady show the awesome 80's prom in NYC?

this is probably a really stupid question but anway...

for my 16th birthday im bringing all my friends to the city and i wnated to know when your at the show does almost everyone wear something from like the 80's ... bc me & my friends are going to dinner after so i wanted to know would we still look alright if we wore something not from the 80's..?
