has anyone been to marmaris this year?if so is it still as cheap as ever for the food,drink and clothes ect??

I was in Turkey in July but not Marmaris.  Things have got more expensive in bars and restaurants but I saved alot of money by taking drinks on excursions where possible and buying snacks/drinks in the local supermarkets.  Like anywhere, it is more expensive on the seafront though and the more touristy the area and shop, the higher the prices.

My sister and dad have just came back from Turkey.  It's not cheap, just as average as anywhere else.  They noticed that a lot of the local shops did not have prices on their goods.  And also that they preferred the EURO to their own currency.

Yes I was in Turkey in May. No, I wasn't at Marmaris. Turkey is still a cheap country, but the Turkish Lira is stronger against hard currencies. Besides, touristic places tend to have higher prices.

I was in Italy in July and they sold a 1/2 lt. bottle of water for €1t, €1.5 and €2 right on the same street.
