Has anyone bought anything from Bidz.com?

I just bid on three items (all under $5) but now I'm wondering if the site is real/trustworthy. Has anyone ever bought anything from there before?

They seem very honest but the service charges are huge. I bought a bracelet for $4 which ended up costing $16.72. They are in Culver City, CA so at least you don't have to go to China with problems.

I should receive the bracelet in about a week and then I will decide if I should order more.

One thing that bothered me was that I placed a limit bid of $10 on a bracelet. I was outbidded and it sold for about $20. Later they offered to sell it to me for $10 on a second chance offer. Someone else therefore actually paid double when they won the bid. I therefore wonder about the quality. We shall see.

it is legit, but read the descriptions carefully, so you know what you are buying/
