Has anyone brought a present for the father of there baby when he or she is born?

my partner has been incredably supportive the whole way through my pregnancy and although alot of you are going to say well he is the father of your child he should be i feel like he has done more than his fare share. he has provided me with what i am sure will be the most wonderfull gift ever...well equally as wonderfull as our 3 nearly 4 year old daughter.....

i was just wondering if anyone had brought there partner a gift for when the baby is or was born if so what did you buy.

i would really love to buy my partner something special as a thankyou for providing me with such wonderful support and a wonderful baby but dont have a clue what to buy....any ideas?

A voucher for the local lap dancing club, sounds like he deserves it (don't forget to include soem spend money, he will need it)

Well they normally buy you something as you are the one who has gone around like an elephant for months! People normally buy the Dad drinks and cigars afterwards....but you might like to get him a keepsake like a nice silver frame with a pic of the baby and you in it....or a really nice diary....leatherbound.

I bought my partner some Engraved Daddy Cufflinks. I got  the Silver ones which had our baby's name & DOB engraved on them which made them extra special. (Photo Cufflinks with a picture of the new baby are also a great gift idea)

i bought my partner a new watch when we had our first child, and im also considering what to get him when my next child is born in the next mth! Im considering getting him something like a watch!

That's a really nice idea - I'll steal that! It's a nice gesture to show that you appreciate the help (and the night time trips to get mylanta!) throughout the pregnancy. If he likes cigars - get a fancy one (my man just suggested a cuban lol) or if he drinks, a nice bottle of o12 year old scotch. Maybe tickets do some kind of important footy match or whatever he's into.

When i had my son, i bought my partner a "daddy and me" photo frame, and stuck the first photo of my son as a newborn in his daddys arms in it.

As a thank you for that, he bought me a "mummy and me" photo frame, and put the first photo ever taken of our son and i in it.

With this pregnancy, i can't even think of boys names, let alone presents, and i'm nearly 36 weeks!
