Has anyone called the Samaritans before?

If so, what was it like and did you find it useful?

I dont' live in the UK and have never called the samaritans before but I have emailed them and even though they knew I lived in the US they helped me.  They will help you think about your problem from a different point of view.

Give them a call.

Yes, I have called them many times. They can't actually give you any advice or tell you what to do however they listen. This is the most important thing and everytime I felt better from doing it;) give them a call.
