Obviously Sonny has had his say now. Does that shed any light on the issue for you or do you feel the same about him?

  1. i refused to watch the interview. That fact it was a channel 9 exclusive Danny Wildler interview said it all. How much did nine pay for the interview. Its a joke

  2. SBW spent the whole interview laying the blame on on the Bulldogs club and coach.  He denied that money was the main motivator and claimed that the real issue was that he did not get the respect that he feels he deserved at the club in his opinion. How much respect did he show his fans and teamates when he walked out on them with five games to play?

  3. I felt ambivalent before I saw the interview; after, I felt it was a total waste of airspace.  Must be real easy for him - so much money under contract & treated like "cattle!"..  In my opinion, this just showed the level of immaturity - blaming others while totally excusing himself from any responsibility.  It takes two to play, if he really had the "cojones" he kept talking about ad nauseum during the interview, wouldn't he have said "It wasn't all the club or coaches fault - I just didn't make myself clear, I HAVEN'T BEEN HAPPY FOR A LONG TIME".

Instead, he pulled out a litany of excuses, blaming the "club & coach, the media, the other players needing someone to stand up for them", instead of stating the real reason - he thought he was bigger than the game!  He's whining from the other side of the world - but still accepting a paycheque from the 'dogs! He wants it all ways, with sugar on top!!

Good riddance, he can stay there, there's many, many more where he came from; cheaper & more talented too!  The NRL is a BUSINESS, just like any other, NO ONE IS INDISPENSIBLE.

The 'dogs should stop his payments, & start bringing on other players,  who are grateful for an opportunity; & a paycheque.

  4. yes... i agree with him.... its disgusting how clubs treat some of there players.... make the most of your short shelf life..good luck

  5. How much like Anthony Mundeen did he sound?

  6. I always thought he was chasing the coin.

If Folkes questioned his friendship with Mundine, then he's an idiot.

Whilst I think Mundine is a clown, Sonny Bill Williams can choose who his friends are and nobody can question that.

I'd be interested to see if he plays with a Super 14 team.  I'd tip he goes to the Hurricanes
