I am trying to locate a rat poison which looks like blue lard and which spread on sliced bread is very effective.

I was given some a few years back and since then have been unable to source it. Can anyone help.

I originally posed this question yesterday and put it into the wrong section, my apologies to anyone who keeps rats as pets. Didn't mean to offend anyone.

  1. Warfarin.  It's coloured blue to stop people eating it.  In small doses, it's an anticoagulant and keeps half the elderly population alive.  In large doses it causes haemorrhaging which is how it kills rats.

  2. No but i know you can still get hold of the blue corn. Have you tried a hardware shop or garden centre?
