Has anyone come off of cilest the contraceptive pill and had problems conceiving?

hi me and my hubby are trying for a baby and i have just come off my pill cilest im just wondering if anyone had any problems with conceiving after taking this pill as i know some contraceptives can stay in your system for months if they are quite strong

Hi it took me just 5 months to become pregnant after coming of cilest. (im now 20 weeks pregnant)

After being on Cilest for over 2 years i took my last pill on 8th July 08 as we decided to start trying for a baby.

When my period didn't arrive this month but i had sore b***s, my classic sign of getting ready for a period, i did a pregnancy test which was positive!

I was really shocked as i was expecting it to take a few months to be honest & was prepared for it to take up to or over a year. I know everyone is different but i don't think it hinders the ability to conceive.

im not sure, i know any medication can cause health problems.

im sure your fine, but if i was trying to make a baby , i would go get a check up. maybe start eating healthier(to clean out the system) and hope and stay positive for the best. =) good luck sweetie.

I think that every ones body reacts differently,the main thing is to try and relax about ttc,I took 4 mths to conceive after taking cilest.The last month I tried not too think about it and got pregnant!

took me 18 months to conceive after coming off cilest unfortunately the pill stays in your system for awhile
