  1. Various prismatic devices have been built which split light up into segments by wavelength.

When we have a light source split up that way we can tune the receiving surface to the specific wavelength range the prism is providing to that area. Thus we can have perhaps 10 different segments each delivering about 8% of the available energy across all parts of the spectrum.

  2. UV-rays are used for the synthesis of vitamin d in our body ,but i dont know what kind of instrument is it and who found it. I am sorry I couldnt satisfy your doubt

  3. I am also working on a collector that would extract electrical current from the atmosphere, the earth is a super large static electricity producer and it is free once installed

  4. yes it is called a solar powered calculator...

uv rays come from the sun and power the calculator

  5. there are three main forms of solar energy, and the current technology of solar collectors collect only one of these three (I believe it captures visible light and does not harness ultraviolet or infared).

However, work is currently being done on a new generation of collectors that would capture all three.

    Good question.

  6. a solar panel?
