Has anyone cruised on the Italian cruise line MSC?

My wife and I are looking at a Caribbean cruise offered by that cruise line but do not know much about it. Looking for people who have sailed on that cruise line and their positives/negatives they encountered.

I personally have not, but several close friends of mine have. All reported generally good things about it. It may not be up to the same standard of class as Celebrity, Holland America Line or Cunard; nor the same "everyone can do something aboard a ship the size of New Jersey" standards of Royal Carribean or Carnival (though their new ships in the Orchestra class are unmistakably "megaships"). MSC is sort of a happy medium between them with a slightly European flavor. Most of your fellow passengers in the Caribbean will be Americans. The crew, food and entertainment will be geared towards Americans. I'd say go for it.
