Has anyone dealt or heard of Vehicle Purchase Protection in Hungary. I am thinking about buying a car through?

Iam considering buying a car through a third party in Hungary called Vehicle Purchase Protection. The web site looks very professional with the option to talk to an agent. What does anyone think?

I think you need to take your hard earned money out for a nice dinner.

Cause you are about to kiss it goobye for the very last time.

Why would you want to even THINK about dealing with some shady operation in a third world country when there are millions of cars available in your own country.  Thousands in your own city?

Because its a great deal.  This car is priced below comparable ones you saw on Craigslist, Autotrader, or eBay.  They are going to pay for shipping to your door.  You will give your money to this VPP company.  When the car arrives you will have 5 days to inspect it.  If it is not to your liking, you contact the representative and they will refund 100% of your money.  They will even pay for return shipping - that is how confident they are that you will like this car.

they are selling it so cheap, because of (a) a death in the family (b) job transfer/military assignment over seas (c) recent divorce --- They want the car gone so badly they are willing to take a loss just to get it gone.

How did I do?

this scam has been around for a few years.  read this forum.  Look at how many times it gets posted.

I would be VERY careful. The new scams come with really slick looking websites to help snare you and your cash. Do you REALLY know who you nare talking to if you call them? I did a search and it confirms my suspicions. There is no such company. I expect it is an offer of a deal for a car that is priced way below normal. These are always scams.
