  1. Is the bank account joint? Typically a bank cannot apply holds to a joint bank account but depending on the state you live in they can do so.

Mel Harris had to have gotten a judgement from the courts to do that. You may want to contact your legal rep or at a minimum the FTC to see if there's any exemption for the other party. I suggest if you get your payroll deposited into it that you open another account asap to get access to some money.

  2. I have not had the pleasure of dealing with him, I would love to do so because I could use the money I would win from a law suit.

I will not make any derogatory statements about this firm, but you can read about them and how they illegally freeze accounts on old debts. Read more about them at this web site

  3. Mel Harris is notorious.  You need a lawyer to take care of settting aside the judgment.  You might also want to contact your state attorney general.

The bank has not choice but to abide by the court order.  Any bank account with your husband's name is fair game, even if all the funds in the account belong to a joint holder.

  4. Mel owes me $500,000 for bets he placed on horse racing.
