Has anyone dealt with pesticide exposure?

In August 2004 while working for Pest Control I had a pesticide spill occur. A backpack sprayer of termidor spilled all over the back and shoulders of my shirt, literally soaked my shirt. The coworker training me said don't report it, we would get fired. He just said change your shirt. I ended up quitting the job due to chemical sensitivity.

A little time passes and my s*x drive slowly diminishes to nothing and motivation in general. In fact even waking up with dreams were gone. I was noticing my brain was becoming impaired. I started having a numbness to life. I was having weird burning sensations in my head and was always going to the doctor just not feeling right. The doc did a brain MRI and it was normal. The doctor would pass it off as depression and once sent to a neurologist who only gave me one visit and dismissed anything could be related to pesticides. I also noticed I couldn't use cleaners anymore unless I had very good ventilation like outdoors. I would get brain fog that lasted for hours.

I made calls to various experts. I even did my own research and found this pesticide along with others are hormone disruptors and cause other effects.

All I know is something is not right. I just want an answer and a possible treatment. I thought of getting a PET scan to see what my brain is or is not doing. I am going to my doctor and discuss this.

What can I do? Is it all in my head? I appreciate a point in the right direction.

Thanks again!

Pat

  1. it could be all in your head because you think that this is  going to make you really sick so end up thinking that you are sick ,but just in case see another doctor

  2. Too bad you've waited so long to look for answers in the alternative medicine field. You have a serious (life-threatening) condition and should seek the advice of a professional naturopath.

If it were me, I would immediately start a liver cleanse using Milk Thistle seed extract (aka Silymarin) in combination with Burdock root and Dandelion root. While using, get plenty of extra fiber and water so the toxins don't get reabsorbed in the kidney and bowel. Also might want to use a product similar to Herbs Etc.'s Lymphatonic, containing Red Root, et.al. to improve lymph gland function. Take for 2 months, rest a couple of weeks and repeat.

Our bodies are incredibly resilient and cells are always rebuilding. It's possible with a really good diet and health regimen you can overcome this. If you let it go on, you will most likely wind up with auto-immune disorders like leukemia, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, maybe lupus.
