Has anyone done a hpt before missed period?

i took a test 7dpo since i am going out with friends tonight (just incase) it came back negative :( has anyone had this happen taking a test before missed period and came back negative but when missed period came back positive? just still hopeful! plus i've had sore bb's for the past few days.

i did mine 4 days prior and it was postive and every test since was postive. ....

Ive heard that u can get a positive from 10dpo although im not sure cuz i never had to do any of this stuff when i had my daughter. Good luck hun.

i did 7dpo and got Negative, but the next week later got a BFP,5 days before missed period.... Goood Luck

i did a test on the day i was supposed to start my period and it was negative, it wasnt till 4 days after i missed my period that i got a positive..

I took a HPT at 7 and 8 dpo and they were both very negative, however I got a positive at 9 dpo. It was just to early those firt 2 times, I didn't have enough HCG in my urine yet. And my only 2 symptoms I had was, I was tired and gassy...never had sore b***s or morning sickness. I am now 5 and 1/2 weeks pregnant and I still don't, so every women is different you don't have to have alot of symptoms to be pregnant...some women just never get them. I wish you the best! 7dpo is too early to tell. Even the pregnancy test box will tell you that the earliest you could test is 4 days before your missed period. If you think you're pregnant I suggest going easy tonight!

I would say that 7dpo is way too early to test.  It takes a few days for a fertilized egg to find its way to your uterus, then a few more days before you have enough HcG in your system for a + result on a hpt.  Go out with your friends and try to relax.  Relaxing and letting your body do what it needs to will be the best thing.  If you are concerned about drinking while pregnant, just don't drink tonight.  Going out will help take your mind off TTC.  I know I can obsess during the tww, so I try to distract myself.

7 dpo is REALLY early. I tested negative at 9 and 10 dpo and then positive at 11 dpo. When you go out tonight I would not drink and assume you can be pregnant. Sore bb's are definitely a sign. Also pay attention to any cramping, as that was my #1 sign. GOOD LUCK!
