  8. Sounds like you really want to be just another {EVA} adore.

  9. So, you are a special kind of stupid, correct?

  10. The Silva Method promises many things, but it's up to you to deliver on the promises.  There are some standard techniques that are taught through Silva including mediation, focus of concentration, increased sensitivity, and awareness of alternative realities.

If you study Silva with an open mind and you dedicate yourself to the methods, you will likely see some results, but realize that these techniques were developed over 50 years ago and that the science of parapsychology has evolved since this process was created.

From my perspective, the Silva method is expensive and difficult to complete without some guidance.  There are many other books that will help you to increase your powers of concentration and learn to tap into the potential of your subconcious mind.  There are also teachers in different disciplines who can help to guide you through the process of relaxation, meditation, and guided visions.

Though I don't believe that Silva is a hoax, I do believe that the method has been marketted and publicized in a way that has diluted Silva's original intent.  It is difficult to find good teachers who understand *how* the method works rather than just how to do the exercizes.  If you decide to buy the materials and take the classes, you're going to have to be lucky to get a good trainer to help you through the process.

And, it is a process.  Don't expect results in 6 weeks.  Developing sensitivities and a strong focus requires years of study and practice.

I would recommend that you look for somebody locally to help you to develop your meditation and focus skills.  When you start working in those areas, you will meet other people interested in the same areas that you are.  Talk to them about your interests.  You're more likely to have success that way.  Good luck.
