John James leigh actually left Egypt because he was scared. He was being harassed by Hamdy Farouk, He prices ancient egyptian stuff. He was the only one who met John and he saw the cartouche that john had discovered. although there isn't too much evidence, Hamdy, due to the fax, was the last person to meet john and I believe that he threatened john because the cartouche was so valuable.

yes- Handy, Professser Crawford or Hassan is responsible for Leigh's dissapearence- but oc an't say who but i know who i an currently  doing the same assiment.
