Has anyone downloaded Service Pack 3 for Windows XP? If so what do you think? worth it and any problems ?

I have heard that a lot of info can get lost during download and that it has no more benefit than SP2 any thoughts would be helpful,cheers.

Service Pack 3 made my computer not compatible with programs I had on my pc. But if you are a person that doesn't use older programs then it should be ok for you but for me its just not needed.

there used to be loads of probs with it, everything kept crashing but it's all been fixed and works fine now.

downloaded it a few months back and never had no problems it takes quite a time just be patient and wait, i rushed it the first time and ended up doing it all over again ithought it had finished downloading not watching the pc i went out when i got back i turned it off thinking it had finished how wrong was i.

i just downloaded it yesterday, apart from the very long download and install ive had no problems with it

I have downloaded and installed it on 12 computers here at work and it has worked fine.

No apparent problems. Just curious to know, does this mean there will be no more updates if this is the final for XP? Is automatic updates now redundant
