Has anyone downloaded anything from the microsoft word website onto their computer?

on my computer i have microsoft works but instead i need word so ive tried downloading it so many times but it still has not worked yet

is anyone an expert at this because i really need help!!!!!

Legally, you can't do it unless you have paid Microsoft or the company selling the program for the license to use it. You could look for OpenOffice 2.4 it has all the features of Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc and is fully compatible with Microsoft Office, it even uses the same file format. It's free & legal & in my opinion the better option!

You downloaded Word from the website? How? I don't think it's possible unless you pay them, so maybe you're downloading something else. Are you sure it's a microsoft website?
