Has anyone eaten at the buffet section of The View Restaurant in New York?

Hi,

I'm going to New York next week and wanted to try the buffet at The View restaurant in the Marriott on Times Square (the revolving one) but I'm really picky about food and don't really eat a huge variety of things. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of things are served at the buffet and if it's any good.

I ate both the dinner buffet and the dessert buffet and it was pretty good.

I'm a relatively picky eater, and a vegetarian, and there was enough for me to eat - they have pasta, rice, veggie, fish dishes, chicken dishes (I don't know if they are always the same...).  They also have a wide variety of salads.  There is also bread and rolls available.

The dessert bar was great!  Lots of nice cookies and cakes, fresh fruit, etc.

You might want to call and see if they can give you the exact menu for the night you are going.

ive only eaten there once and it wasnt at the buffet

the food was pretty good but the best part was the elavator!
