Question:

Has anyone else been deceived by DVDCrave.co.uk?

I bought three DVDs from DVDCrave.co.uk I bought them in good faith on the understanding that the DVDs that I was buying were genuine DVDs. When I received them after about ten days they had a Malaysian stamp on the envelope and the DVDs themselves were in flimsy cellophane envelopes. Two out of the three did not play. I have tried to take this up with PayPal, Google and trading standards but with no joy, Paypal because I received a product, Google because 'they don't police the internet' and trading standards because the company isn't based in the UK. What else can I do?

  1. I'm afraid that you have been stung and there's not a lot you can do about it. As the previous poster has said the website has been suspended, unfortunately they have a DVDcrave.com site in Australia which is still up and running.

Hopefully your question on here will warn other potential victims to be careful.

You could try contacting their Customer Service at the company e-mail address:  service@dvdcrave.com

    Good luck

  2. All you can do is learn from your mistakes.  Nothing is cheap in this world.

Don't pay by Pay Pal use a credit card

Make sure you have a contact phone number and UK address.

Bit late to do anything now, the web site has been suspended.
