  1. mrs bucket  has never asked me      ashame  really as i would have liked to stick an evening suit on as well ......what ever that is

  2. gosh that would  be great ?I like her ,and Richard poor man, that was one of my mums favourite programs

  3. No, I've not had that pleasure...I'd be scared of making some unforgiveable faux pas or smashing something! x

  4. I'd love an invite, but the only ones that ever get invited are Councillor Mrs Nuggent, The Major, Emmet and Elizabeth, and of course Richard has to be there.

She should invite Onslow, he'd liven them up a bit.

  5. I am Hyacinth (according to my children).

  6. No But it sound like it is Fantastic!

  7.   not as yet but i,m waiting

    on the post now

  8. I will not be invited back,as the last time I broke wind and followed through.Apparently the guests weren't impressed,as I squelched away from the table, and made my exit!

  9. When she found out I lived in a house with no swimming pool or room for a pony, she withdrew the invitation.

  10. Yes, just the once though, Hyacinth was holding one in honour of Councillor Nugent. Emmett and Elizabeth are my aunt and uncle so my husband and I were also invited to go along but it was awful.

Elizabeth, my aunt, asked for a plastic beaker because she kept spilling her coffee on the tablecloth but Hyacinth insisted a beaker would not co ordinate well with her Royal Doulton with the handmade periwinkle.

Emmett, my uncle, didn't speak much because he wore earplugs the whole time just incase Hyacinth sang.

We were having a nice meal until Rose turned up and the s**t tried it on with my husband.

I wouldn't recommend it ..... Hyacinth is as common as muck ;-)

  11. no Jackie why are out of your tree?

  12. That's my daughters ex- mother in law - and we were never  invited.

  13. no,i am afraid to go into her house.

  14. Yes what time did she tell you because she told me 6.30 but I'm thinking that's early.

  15. Yes, but got there too early, caught her in her curlers and hair net, she claimed Richard had forgotten to buy candles and sent me away.

  16. No ... when is it ... pray tell.

  17. No. I'd have to think of a good excuse to get out of it.
