  1. if  u mean down at holden hill yes but it puts u off your food a little

  2. IF IT IS IN Australia then NO

  3. No but it sounds wonderful.

  4. Only to the one in Key West.  Great times!

  5. yup, and its ok if you like a big lump of red meat with wilty salad and fried c**p. Extremely overrated

  6. Yep, they are great, the one at Marina Mirage is better than Surfers Paradise tho...  not sure why, just seems to be nicer there.  The steaks are awesome, but HUGE, although they have introduced some small size steaks which are still pretty big.  The chicken ranch salad is really tasty too, but don't be fooled, it is super fattening...18 points if u do weight watchers.

  7. I called in at the one in Airlie Beach up against the Whitsunday Islands and to be honest it was just another eating house with extra noise thrown in free.  The best I can say about it is 50/50. Usual mix of food with a typical Australian take it or leave it attitude, the waiters would just as soon spit in your eye as serve you, particularly if they are male and some fresh hunting stock walks in.  Tough on you.

  8. hogs breath? Ewwww....

  9. No, I have heard nothing but bad reports from friends and family.

    It is pretty S**t apparently...

  10. Yeah, I love them. I've been to the one in New Orleans, LA, Key West FL, Cancun MX and have shirts to prove it. A great time!

  11. Which one?  I have been to the one in Key West, FL.  So much fun!

  12. yes and never again!!!  That my friend is not the place to experience steak and all its glory.  There is a nice pub near where I live that has beef from all over Australia in all manner of cuts, breeds, types of feed it has been finnished on etc.  That is beef not that lame, water-tasting shite they serve in Hogs Breath.  In my home town Hogs Breath is always near empty and I think that says it all.....

  13. I've been to the original in Key West, Florida and I have also been to an imitation Hog's Breath in Cairns, Australia.  The original one in Key West is much better and really fun!

  14. Actually, I have been there so much I bought one of their memberships to get cheap meals (25 per cent off), lol

The meals are a good size without being ridiculous, the food is fresh and tasty and they also employ a lot of local young people and uni students, so I want to support them for that. Also, I enjoy the laid back atmosphere, the decor and the type of meals offered.

I might say that I am a vegetarian and people have said why would I go there, but it is one of the few places my carnivore partner can chow down on a delicious steak and I can have a full and delicious vegetarian meal (with a bit of choice) at the same time!!

The only criticism I have is that the menu is not very extensive and if you are a regular it can feel a bit 'same old'. But on the other hand it's better to do 40 things really well than 100 things badly.

Thoroughly recommended for an enjoyable, laid back evening out!

  15. yea

  16. hogs breath there's one where i live Cairns Australia, but never been there funny that. I'm dieing for a big juicy 10oz stake as I'm in Seoul Korea where all you can eat is alive seafood and soup and rice and all that stuff.....

  17. Tried the one in Mooloolaba a few years back and I wasn't impressed, Steak was tough and fatty.
