Has anyone else ever had a weird reaction to mattefying gels?

i've been using one, and now my skin feels raw and it burns most of the time.

WTF is going on?

does anyone else have this problem?

i'm really positive it's my mattefying gel, because i usually use it on my eyelids and i feel the most raw skin and pain there, and it just burns more to put a moisturizer on it. :(

the ingredients are: water, magnesium aluminum silicate, propylene glycol, phenoxyethanol, allantoin, methylparaben, propylparaben, ethylparaben, isobutylparaben, fragrance. (may contain) titanium dioxide (Ci77891), iron oxides (Ci 77489, Ci 77491, Ci 77499).

i'm allergic to lactose (milk, cheese, etc), aluminum chlorohydrate (antiperspirant), sulfa (sulfites, sulfates, etc), nickel, and i think i'm allergic to silicone.

could one of those be in my mattefying gel??

Either it's causing an allergic reaction or you are making the mistake by using the product around your eye area. Try something by Clinique. They have mattifying stuff and they are for more sensitive skin types.

ummm how bout u just stop using it! clearly theres sumthing in there irritating u and causing an allergic reaction....ur obviously allergic to a lot of stuff
