i've used crest whitening strips before and they never hurt my teeth. So recently i bought some more because i wanted whiter teeth for school.... yeah whatever. But now this time they really really really hurt my teeth each time i use them, but this NEVER happened last time i used them. I was just wondering if this happens to other people or if i need to talk to my dentist or something?

  1. Anytime you have pain with your teeth you should talk to your dentist.  Really though, whitening agents have been known to weaken and break down enamel which is why I am hesitant to try any of them.  My suggestion would be to buy an enamel builder toothpaste and talk to your dentist about it.

Unless you smoke or drink coffee though, there's really no reason to whiten your teeth anyway.

  2. Yes, and also spinbrushes will cause sensitivity and toothaches.

the old fashioned way is best.

there are very good whiteneing toothpastes now,,,

I suggest crest or colgate, they have never caused sensitivity in mine
