  1. Sure, but the good news is this will be over in Nov. and the Rep. convention will be over Thurs. and they will go on to the next thing to talk about.

  2. No, but I'm getting there. Fed up with all the negative comments about Palin's daughter...bd

  3. I avoid it all costs. I feel dumbed-down if I watch cnn or fox news for more than 5 seconds.

  4. Yes, It can b overwhelming.

  5. YES OF COURSE....

BUT HEY HERE IS THE UP SIDE....

    IT'S THE REPUBLICAN CONVENTION......THIS TIME.....

NOT THAT MUCH NEWS FEED...WHAT 17 YR OLD PREGNANT TEEN

THAT'S NOTHING COMPARED TO THE OBAMA BASHES...

    WHAT A RELIEF

  6. Nope  I can not get enough.  I think I'm addicted.

  7. No. This election is waaaaaayyyy to important. I am 45 years old and this is the first election that has had any real significance during my life time. American kids are still dying in a war that should have been over years ago and the price of everything, not just gas, has gone up so much I no longer have any "spending" money - it all goes to providing the basic needs for my family. Turn off the TV and take a break. But please vote in November. A lot of people are suffering because of the policies of the Bush administration.

  8. Yes, I had to take a break from it and I also had to take a break from YA election questions for a while.  I felt it was getting to emotional for a while.  And I am not whining, but we all have to take a break from things sometime.

  9. YES!

I was getting too emotional and eventually had to take a break from it all.

  10. I know many people that have. However, I'm not one of them. I feel this may be the most important election of my life so far and have become obsessed with it.

  11. OMG.. YES!

  12. Yes.

At the end of the day, I know where each candidate stands on the issues that matter most to me, and that's way more important than whose daughter is pregnant, or who didn't wear a flag pin, or who got extra cheese on their bean burrito.

At a certain point you just have to disengage from all the muckraking and make your own decisions.
