My son had a tumor and when it was removed at nine months old the oral surgeon had to remove his two upper front teeth. I was wondering how this would effect his speech, eating, etc. Has anyone else had a child that had their upper teeth removed? The doctor said his permanent tooth buds might of been destroyed during the surgery so he might never get upper front teeth. We won't know until much later.

  1. my nephew has his two uppers removed and just last year they grew back. HE adapted quite well and ate just fine. just last year he got he two front teeth back and is doing just fine. He didn't have the same problem but he had them pulled because of baby bottle mouth and I think he ground his teeth. Your son will learn to adjust, and if they never come back then he can have partials.
