Question:

Has anyone else had a problem with Dell?

I ordered a T.V. from them on 6/24. They estimated the T.V. would be here on 7/2. It is now 7/4. I called them and talked to some guy that I couldn't understand. It sound like he was in a cave in Pakistan. He gave me the tracking number and told me to get a hold of the carrier. Apparently, they don't celebrate the 4th of July in Pakistan. Any advice?

  1. I have had Dell for about 2 years, and I have not had a problem since. I don't think tv's are their speciality.

  4. There could have been a delay in shipping for many reasons.   Dell ships from about 8 or 9 different warehouses across North America.

    They are probably shipping UPS in the USA, log onto the website and see where your package is,   Chances are you will be seeing it Monday.

    Your parcel may have been delayed for various reasons:

    1, oversized package requiring special handling

    2. delay in customs

    3. Shipped through Canada where tuesday was aholiday

    4. Delay in processing payment

    5. higher than normal volume for courier, or dell

    6. back order or special order item which was not in stock at time of order.

    7.  Today is the 4th of July, it is a holiday and couriers are not delivering.

    Take the tracking number log onto the UPS website and see there it is.

    Remember the time frame is an estimate and rarely takes into account holidays.

  5. I have never had any trouble will Dell. The TV may be late because of the holiday. Do you know if it is being shipped by UPS? If so, you can type in the tracking number on the website and you can see where it is at.

    The best advice I can give to you is to wait until Monday [business days] and get a hold of the carrier.

  7. Oh my when I ordered my laptop from them last year it took them literally 3 months to get them to ship it to me. It was ridiculous.  And all they did was call the day I was expecting it and leave a voice mail that the shipping will be delayed.  I will never order from them again!!! Good luck

    all too common customer service. id say just wait it out, itll show up eventually. probably not till monday though, cause things dont normally ship on weekends
