Has anyone else had a problem with their safety belt in their 2008 Ford Focus?

It was hard to latch, then it just stopped working. I've had the car fore less than 3 months. It is an SE model. Is this a manufacturer's defect?

check to make sure there are no foreign object inside the buckle before you take it to your dealer

safety accessories are covered by warranty for 5 years

I would say yes it is defective.This will be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Take it back to the dealer for repair..
