Has anyone else had any problems finding the right girlfriend?

I'm sure that others have been here before and I'm really needing some different perspectives on this. I'm a Junior in high school and all of my friends have girlfriends but I don't for some reason. I figured it must be my standards are too high or I'm being too picky, but I want a girlfriend I can discuss with and share interests with. I have yet to find anyone in my Five-A high school. My friend said that love is simply making the best with what you can find, but I think that taking a girlfriend simply on looks and not having anything in common is just dumb. What do you all think?

I'm a senior in high school and I've never had a girlfriend.I have a lot of girls trying to hit on me and I've pretty much show them no interest.I'm handsome and tall and yet I have no girlfriend.I want a girl with looks and personality.I'm glad I'm picky.If a girl is nice but her face isn't I'm not interested.If a girl looks nice and isn't I treat them like trash.

I'd rather wait until the right time comes.I think the girls at my high school are too easy and they've slept with many guys at the school already.I'm not interested in girls that are easy and I'm not interested in girls that pretend to be hard to get but they're actually easy.

You sound mature, that might have something to do with it.  most people your age are too caught up in other things.  And the person girl your wishing for, might not be going to your school.  keep your head up, and love will find you!

By the way, it's not about being "picky" it's about compatibility. ;)
