Has anyone else heard of something called a economy class flight it sounds dreadful?.?

It's called cattle class and if you are tall or just cuddly there is not enough room. It's OK for a couple of hours but I'd hate to be in it for much longer. I usually feel quite grumpy anyway  having spent two hours before and then the two/three flight delayed. I hate flying anyway and use it only as a means to an end. The flight is most definitely not part of the holiday  which starts when I leave the airport on the way out and ends when I leave for it on the way back. I don'tthink turning left would make any difference

Yes, I've been on the Singapore airlines economy flight.  Not sure if they call it economy - it's a single class flight, and what you get is more like business class.

It just means you'll be in coach instead of first class. Anywhere you sit though, traveling these days by air is a freaking mess. So it will probably be dreadful.

I think it's just normal class, instead of first class. That's what I've thought all my life anywayss.

Most travel economy and those that can afford it move up to Business Class and up from there is First Class. The price difference is about double for the first step and double again to first.

Hello Gordon,

it's something that those of us without tax-payers to fund our travel have to do.  I know it's hard to understand, but some people have to pay for everything themselves (including furniture for their homes) and can't persuade the airlines to put them in business class for "security" reasons.

Hope No 10. is comfortable and warm...do remember to put  on an extra sweater and turn down the thermostat to save gas, won't you :-)

god yeah i went economy to greece and a guy acted strange all the way there n even went in loo  with full beard n tash n came out clean shaven!they got the crew onto him but he turned out to be ok but we were frightened i dont reckon that wud happen in first class.

economy class just means cheaper. only people with loads of money or travel in their job go 1st class so  you choose whatever 1 you want.Both get there
