It's a voice-over by a nurse-practioner who works for Planned Parenthood (i.e. The pit of h**l). She's trying to convince women that McCain is all about "taking the ability to choose" away from us.

When will people learn that abortion is murder? And that it's not about the right to choose.......but a right to life instead?

I say woman already have a choice:  condom, birth control pills, diaphram, tubes tied.  They sure have more choices than that baby does.

you are right in a small sence but isnt quality of life important as well. if the mother is uncapable of looking after the child it isnt fair to just put them in the social service system and hope for the best. so i think that abortion should be available but people should think more carefylly about having it done

I'm sorry, I was too busy being deafened by the hypocrisies of a woman who's pro-life supporters in Alaska in 2003 sued planned parenthood for failing to report statutory rapes (they were actually claims of having been statutorily raped faked by activists) shaking hands with her and supporting her when she takes her daughter's rapist to her photo-ops.

This type of hypocrisy makes it clear Pro-life people only care about the lawfulness of their opponents.

It is about the right to choose.  The right to privacy regarding decisions each citizen makes with respect to their own body is protected by the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution.  Unborn fetuses are not recognized as citizens of the United States, and cannot be protected as a citizen until there is at least a birth certificate.  Therefore, the fetus does not have a "right to life."  You can fight this all you want, but you'll be fighting for a long time, because the Constitution isn't going anywhere any time soon.

PP does MUCH more than perform abortions.  They provide free or nearly free exams for women who otherwise would not be able to afford them.  Would you rather watch women die untreated of uterine, ovarian, or cervical cancer because their ability to get low-cost care was taken away?

Bottom line... every woman you see walking into PP is not there to get an abortion, so your characterization of the entire organization is way off base.

How many children have you personally adopted? Particularly how many with learning or social disabilities?

If you haven't adopted any do something. Protect kids after they are born, not just before.

Well, I read your question and then read through as many of the answers as I could stomach.... and then I had to quit.

The number of people in this country that have fallen for the out and out lies about abortion is heartbreaking. It seems very few realize that the Roe vs. Wade abortion laws were NOT pushed through to protect women's rights. They were pushed through to protect abortionists. And that is all they were intended to protect. I would challenge most of these people to actually go and read those laws.  Compare them to every other law out there that pertains to surgery and what is required of medical personal performing those surgeries. Read the laws pertaining to treating a girl 16 years of age for STD's at your one of your Abortion Mills and compare them to the laws pertaining to that same girl having her teeth cleaned.  We have laws to protect animals that are better than the laws protecting children going to abortionists.

Do you know why abortion clinics were set up? So abortions could be performed on an assembly line outpatient basis and the females can then sent on their way. That way if one has a medical emergency develop later and it results in death the blame can be put on her for not going to the hospital soon enough and the abortionist doesn't have to take credit for her death.

Abortion causes higher risks of cervical cancer, breast cancer. It causes premature births and miscarriages later on and a good many other life threatening diseases as well.

I don't know where people get the idea that these abortionists are such "good guys". They are still the same level of butchers that were doing abortions in back alleys decades ago. They are liars and con artists and they're killing women and young girls off in staggering numbers. Of course, if you choose to be blind to these truths than go on believing the lies.  

The ONLY reason I can see any man agreeing with abortion is if he wants to have s*x with an abundance of women without having to worry about taking responsibility for any offspring he produces. What manly men those are..

Abortion is not murder because a 12-week fetus is not a legal human being.  Why is this impossible for you to understand?  A few hundred undifferentiated stem cells is NOT a human being, with rights that supersede the rights of an adult woman.  Current abortion law is a compromise that addresses the rights of all concerned.

How blinded can a person be to see that a beating heart is LIFE! And the heart beats SO soon on, that most women do not even know they are pregnant. A heart beat usually shows at 6 weeks of pregnancy. That is when most women just find out they are pregnant. The minute of conception it is LIFE however. Life that God has made. I disagree.  Abortion, within the current legal limitations, is not murder.  You can rant all you want, you're not going to change my mind on the matter, nor am I likely to change yours.  A woman's right to choose, the right to control her own body, is critically important.  I support Planned Parenthood with donations and with my time as a volunteer escort if necessary.  They do more than simply provide abortion, too, you know?  They test for STDs, give out low cost or free contraception, and educate on women's health issues.  

Abortion should be legal and rare.
