Has anyone else in Toronto had problems with the moving company Two Small Men with Big Hearts?

I used them twice last year and the service was excellent. I used the again this year, to get mediocre service, then complained to the Toronto manager who said he would call me back the following week after looking into the problem, I didn't hear from him, nor did he return my future call. A complaint letter to the head office also has not been acknowledged. The Toronto office has changed management and it is very poor.

I called the same company here in BC. It sounded like a small local company, but found it was a National chain with many different names.   I'd end up on the phone with a different person each time and none of them had any knowledge of my region, like how far I lived away from the office.  

I found the same shotty service, that I over paid them for.  They were very bureaucratic and I never got any results until I reported them to the Better Business Bureau.  Boy did the service improve then!  I found the same thing, a local owner/operator with not too much experience and wouldn't call you back, and a regional office that does nothing about it.  They forgot to deliver some of my furniture, and instead stored it in their warehouse for 6 months.  If I did talk to him, he'd promise I'd have it in a couple of days, but that never happened.   Would have been longer if not for the BBB.
