I had received a letter explaining how to earn money from home by stuffing envelopes. Now i know that most "jobs" like this are a scam. But i was wondering if anyone either in Maine or around Maine had received one. Its called Prime Rewards, and its located somewhere around Kittery Maine. Stupidly i threw away the envelope it came in.

The only thing that would maybe make me believe it is legit would be tthe fact that they send you a 1099 form to file taxes at the end of the year. If anyone else has received this please send me the address or a phone number for the company so i can find out more about them. The Letter for some reason doesnt list this information. thanks for you help.

  1. I have never heard of a legitimate job stuffing envelopes.  The big red flag is this: do you have to pay them before you can begin working?  You don't have to pay someone for a legitimate job.

The line about the 1099 form only means they have some knowledge of U.S. tax law.  You'll never get a 1099 because they will never pay you $600.

  2. Don't do it. It's fraud.
