  1. Call the local Girl Scout Council and ask them. If you were one of the first to order from a girl it could take a month before the cookies come. Our girl scouts havent even turned in their order forms yet (we are in Michigan) and they wont actually get cookies until April 7 to 9.

  2. Do you know the Girl Scout you ordered from?  If so, give her (or her parents) a call and inquire.

Did you pay in advance?  If so, contact the local Girl Scout Council office and inquire.

My daughter is a Girl Scout, and cookie sales are wrapping up.  I would say that you certainly should have gotten them by now.

We still have some, but only because we purchased the extras to help our daughter reach her goal.

  3. You're not alone...I ordered 10 boxes of Thin Mints and 5 boxes of Samoas...WHAT? They have to last a year!!! I still haven't gotten them.

  4. I'm a Girl Scout leader.  The system is very frustrating!  In our area, girls were allowed to start  taking orders on Jan 5 but the cookies did not come in until Feb 7.  Then the cookie mom had to sort them, then it was up to the girls to deliver.  So yes, it can take a month or more to get your cookies.

My advice for the future; order only from girls you know (not door-to-door Scouts whose overzealous mothers drop them off in neighborhoods where they don't even live) or at cookie booths.

By the way, you know that you do not pay until the cookies arrive, right?  It is GS policy.

  5. Sometimes it takes even longer than a month. Our preorders began in early December and cookies didn't come in until late February. I still have a couple boxes I haven't gotten delivered yet!!

  6. ya my dad eats all the thin mints before I get them, i really think the only way to get them is to kill him.

  7. I have had that problem before... and NEVER tracked down my cookies. Now, the only way I will buy them is like in front of the grocery store when you receive the cookies right then... Good Luck!
