Has anyone else noticed how awfully dry it has been this year in the Southeastern US??

here in Tennesee it has been very very dry, just wondering if anyone could tell me the actual rainfall amount here and how it compared to last year , which was also VERY dry.

why and how so you think?

I've never been to the USA, but maybe this dry spell, if it continues, will change some peoples' minds regarding climate change.

i couldn't find what it was for this year but last year, statewide, it was around 15-20 below normal

probably not much help, but I was wondering why the UK has had weeks of rain, combined with dull, drizzly, utterly misreable weather :s

Yes, you are not alone, I had hoped Fay might drift up, but not to be,  in our area there has not been any measurable rain for six weeks.  Bummer.

I live in South Carolina we have gotten a lot of rain fall here over the past few months not near enough to catch up. But the air here is always dry
