Has anyone else noticed that Lowes has better stuff than Home Depot?

I'm a tradesman and I find Lowes is way better organized, has better stuff, and is less "picked through" than Home Depot. Also, the help is far better.

I have noticed it lately. I have a Home Depot very close by, but I had to go to Lowes for more variety in the lighting department. Right now Home Depot is getting ready for Fall and they have run out of a lot of things because new stuff is coming in. I have not seen that at Lowes. Yes, I agree with you.

Behr paint is awful, and looks nothing like the samples when it dries.  I cannot believe people use that paint. Benjamin Moore is the best paint I have ever used.  And yes, Lowes is a much better store.  The monkey factor is much lower.  Plus, Gene Hackman does the voice-overs for Lowes commercials, and he rules.

Yes I have. My brother lives in Florida and they didn't have a Lowes until recently. All they had was Home Depot and he was not satisfied with their quality. He says their is alot of differences between the two. He is very happy with Lowes.

I completely disagree...  Lowes is a very "fluffy" store.  Not made for contractors.  

And nobody can beat Home Depot's paint.  Behr paint is the best out there.
