  1. Do you buy generic medicine ask your doctor that is how we do it. Just ask you doctor about it he may know about some meds you can get for like 1/4 of the cost of the real meds.

  2. If you work you aren't really disabled.

Have your doctor recommend cheaper meds or have the pharmacist help you fill out paperwork for an indigent program for each so you'll get it for free or at a reduced cost.

  3. You can work while on SSI disability, but you can only make a small amount before getting taxed. They are supposed to work with you so as to keep med benefits , but with the disability payments it makes it tough. They figure if you can work f/p time you probably don't need SSI or very little, or even no med coverage. They're trying to cover their own *** so the politicians can collect it all or give it to illegals who never paid sqwat into the system .

  4. I am not sure what the answer is to your disability question. . . . .however if you need help buying your medication check out this website. . . .www.freemedication.com .  I know several people that have applied for help on this website and recieved it.  Since you are on disability I am sure they will help you.

  5. yes.  i get ssi, and I live in louisiana, and it works the same way here.

    it's b.s.

just because I am disabled means that I can support myself on 600 dollars a month.  that is not even enough to  pay for just my housing.
