I've just finished it and I think it's may be the most brilliant, significant book I've ever read. Has anyone else read it? What did you think of it?

  1. No, but it sounds like a good book.  I'll check it out.

  2. Harris, Hitchens, Dawkins, etc. are idiots.  Everything they have to say has already been said in the Enlightenment.  They're blowhards who like to hear themselves talk and sell books by being intolerant.

Yes, I've read it.  I wouldn't have commented on how unoriginal it and the author were, and how much it sucked unless I did.

Read "System of Nature" by d'Holbach.  Written in the late 18th Century it's widely considered the "Atheist's Bible" and a much better read than anything by the aforementioned authors.
