  1. Tick the little box beside the message then click spam.  At least that way  they won't hit your inbox anymore.

  2. You should be able to unsub by sending an email to

    [group name]-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

Leave it completely blank; if that doesn't unsub you, you may have to go to the group's main page and on the top bar, near the left (by your ID), click "Edit Membership."  On the bottom right of the page that opens will be three buttons; the rightmost one is "Leave Group."  Click that, verify that you want to leave the group, and you should be out.

Finally, I do suggest you take that guy's email address and block him in your email program so he can't email you again.  Good luck!

  3. Log into your yahoo groups and click on the My Email Preferences, once there click on edit for each email address you have and uncheck the boxes next to

Allow group moderators to directly add me to their groups,

    and

Allow group moderators to invite me to their groups.

Once you do that you'll have no more trouble with invites, you will however not be able to get any other invites if you have friends who open groups they'll have to send you a link for you to join them.

  4. here where you'd report them

    abuse form

    http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/...

if he added you, you'd then have to from your email program, send a blank message to:

    groupname-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com

there would be 2 violations 1) sending an invite to unknown person(s) and 2) adding you w/o your permission
