Has anyone ever baked a steak?

I have some thin cut top round sirloin steak,that I am thinking about baking. Has anyone ever baked a steak? If so,how high do I set the temp and for how long does it cook for so that the juices stay in?

I think I saw Rachel Ray do it on one of her shows. She used a cast iron skillet to brown both sides of the steak and then finished it off in the oven (put the skillet right in there). I'm not sure what the proper temps are though. You could do a search.

On the barbecue one time, with a lower temp over a long period of time, with the top down.
