  3. no. humans cannot survive without an x chromosome. it does many things to keep the body alive. if it happened, the baby would die long before birth.

  4. No, you have to have AT LEAST an X chromosome. If something happens to where the X is missing all together, the body will abort before the woman even knows that she was pregnant.

    There have been cases of people having too many X or Y (or both) chromosomes and they usually end up being fine except for being sterile and maybe some heart problems in the future, but normal otherwise.
