I was called and offered a free vacation with airfare and extras for attending a 90 min seminar - they just want word of mouth advertising if we like the trip.. to Cancun...

anyone ever heard of this company or been to the presentation? or even better, anyone been on a trip from them?

  1. My standard operating procedure is:

If it sounds too good to be true, then it usually IS NOT true.

  2. I live in Spring and am in the Woodlands frequently.

If I were you I would call the Greater Houston Better Business Bureau and get their advise.  You will need the telephone number of Phoenix Vacations in order to bet a report.

But their whole offer of free vacation for word of mouth advertising is completely out of sync with legitimate business practices in today's market and sounds like a scam in which you will ultimately be losing a lot of your hard earned money.

Nobody gives something of value away for free.  There is always a catch or if not, then some illegal activity behind it.  My best advice to you is not to get involved at all.

  3. Hon.....don't fall for that crapola.  It's like Tahitian Village in Las Vegas.  They get you in this room with all the other doh doh's and sit you down and hard sell you like a cheap car salesman.  They position a huge hulking man by the door that looks like he will break your arm if you try to leave.  When one guy gets tired of trying to work the figures so you will fall for it  or he's tired of talking they get another guy who is twice as determined as the first.  It's horrible!  Whatever prize they offer you is NOT worth the headache.
