I've been given plenty that have won at decent prices (I don't back favourites), but I have also been given plenty that have lost!

You win some, you lose some, that is the nature of racing.

I work for a bookie so I get loads every day and they are almost always absolutely rubbish - I've stopped listening to them.

The best you can do, in my experience, is to get the best expert advice you can (from the Racing Post, for example) and make your own mind up.

That said, there are now free expert selections every day on YouTube -- go to http://www.youtube.com/williamhillsports... The older chap on it has already called one winner today and picked the National winner on Saturday, so maybe he is worth listening to...

lol i know what you mean . true horse tips are hard to come by . i personally don't listen to any of them unless i know the source

If you listen to the right people, then you will do well. I know people who have given me tips and quite a few of them have been good.
