Has anyone ever been in a magazine..and if so why?

yes i've been in a magazine ..called pick me up,had a double wedding with my sister and wanted to tell the world :o)

i dont read magazines................ so even if i did appear in a magazine accidentally ............ i couldn't have seen it ........ well congratulations

Yep..when I was alot younger I was under: "Oops" because i did something embarrising ! (well I didnt think it was THAT embarrising, but they did )

I was in Real Homes about 5 years ago, they did a spread of several pages on my house and how we had furnished it.  Only did it cos I'd just written a book and wanted to publicise it, but don't think it sold any more copies of the book

Yes, I have been in a few magazines when I did work experience for them in my younger days.

Won a few things, just a teeny little photo but it did not really excite me much. :)

I write short stories and articles as a hobby, so I've been in several!

i was 1 day old when i was first in the paper because i was born on xmas day :D

but no magazines..

Yep.  Me and my 5 team mates got a multi page spread (photos and write up) in a car mag when we won a national Land Rover off road competition last year.  I also got interviewed and photgraphed in a Norwegian daily paper a few years back when I was working over there.  I also appeared on Granada TV and Men & Motors on a driving programme, throwing a car round an airfield in the form of driving challenges.

i've not been in a magazine that i know of but i have been on the BBC's website actually if you go on http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/zanelowe/zan... i'm still on there, thats the cloest i've ever been to being in a magazine

Won a prize from a drawing (contest), nominated high school ex-boyfriend for the "What He Said" column in Sassy magazine Fall 1991.
