Has anyone ever been on NCL's Pride of Hawaii?

My family and i was wondering about planning a cruise to hawaii on the pride of hawaii, and i was wondering how was the cruise itself like the food, service, entertainment, was the staff friendly and and anything else i should know before I decide thats the ship for me.

Price of Hawaii is one of my favorite NCL ships. I think that it is a really great ship and one of their nicer ones, it is also nice since it is newer. I've included a link to some great reviews, the main page is the overall review, but you can also get reviews from guests, so you can find more recent reviews there, there is also a message board where you can ask questions.

Food- Some of the better food I have had on NCL. Overall it was very nice.

Service/staff- I think that the staff was okay. I've had better service before, but I think it was good enough. I would say that it is on par with most of the other NCL ships, though probably not on par with some other lines. It really just depends on who you get, I've had very good service on Pride of Hawaii and some not so great, but overall I've been happy.

Entertainment- There is quite a bit to do onboard and entertainment wise there are many options. I was very pleased with what was being offered and I found most of it to be really good. I'm on vacation, so I tend to relax more and leave the critique in me at home ;-) But I think that the Pride has very good entertainment.

Some people aren't a big fan of NCL because of their freestyle cruising . Other people love the line because of that. Personally, it doesn't really bother me either way.

Overall, I would say that the good far outweighs the not so great and the itinerary can't be beat. NCL is one of the best for a Hawaii cruise.

I have been on an NCL cruise ship and it was pretty nice!! I guess I felt spoiled since I ALWAYS cruised on Princess line cruise ships, which are sooooo beautiful!! The NCL ship was very relaxing and the freestyle dining rooms were great - you could eat when ever you wanted, including the 24 hrs a day buffetts which were AMAZING food! I did like the NCL ship, you should have a great time! Its a great boat, and I had NO complaints!!
