Has anyone ever been on the auto train? how is it?

well I'm going assume you mean the auto train from

Lorton to Sanford florida (the one operated by Amtrak)

I haven't been on it either

but I know you have to have automobile with you

(you cant just take the auto train with out a automobile

and the train is nonstop (well other then crew changes)

and all the meals and sleepers are included in the price

(not like regular trains (where the sleeper is extra)

I've ridden many times on the Auto Train between Lorton, Virginia and Sanford, Florida, and think very highly of it.

I have talked to people that used the auto train in Alaska that ran to Whittier and they liked it, I dont know if is still inuse after they put the tunnel through though.
