Im taking my boyfriend away to centre parks in November for his birthday (dont worry i know the weather will be awful) and i have booked an executive lodge, im just wondering if anything will be included in the price of the accomodation, like any of the activites ? If not can anyone give me a rough idea on prices to expect? Like for the spa/swimming/horse riding? as we were planning for quite a cheap break, and will eat in, im now panicking all the fun activites will be really expensive?

any ideas on prices?

  1. yes, just the swimming I think. It's not too extravagant, just depends what you do. I seem to remember that a gym membership was like £10 or £15 for the week. You can hire bikes for the week too which I'd recomend for getting around. There will probably be different offers/deals there when you book the activities up, they're well worth doing though; really fun. I did rock climbing, absailing, canoeing, went to the spa..  But you'll have a nice, relaxing, quiet time too if you just head to the pool and enjoy onsite entertainment and the walks in the beautiful surroundings.

  2. If you can afford the executive lodge I'm sure you can afford to pay for everything else

  3. FIrstly, if you can take your own food rather than using the Parcmarket you'll save money there. The swimming pool is normally the only thing that is free, although I'm not sure if you get free bike hire with being executive, I can't remember.

The 'world of spa' 3hour use of steam rooms, jaqcuzzi & saunas is about £30 I think and treatments start at about £25 up to £100+. Things at the jardin de sport aren't too pricey as tennis, pool, etc work out cheap as does bowling in the village centre and canoeing. Horse riding is off site and a coach is put on as are some other activities they offer. By late September/October they should send through all your paper work for entering the park for your stay and when they do they send you booklets full of everything you can do and the cost. Some you can pre-book before you go so you know it is available and at the time you want. Unfortunately although I'm sure you'll have a great time (I love going there in November) but it could cost you more than you intended.

    Have a good time!

  4. The only activity that is included in the price is the use of the swimming pool. Other than that the activities can be quite expensive.

  5. It's utterly expensive, and a big rip off, in my opinion. My Daughter took her family there last year, and the holiday cost her over 2 grand, for a week, and that was just keeping the kids occupied, without food prices added. NEVER AGAIN!!!! This year, she took them to a gorgeous caravan park near Porlock weir, near Minehead. There was a riding stable on site, which was very reasonable, and family day tickets into Butlins for the kids. They had a fantastic time for a fraction of the cost of Centre Parcs, and the scenery, entertainment, and hospitality was also superior to the "rip off merchants" Centr Parcs. If you havn't already payed a deposit, I would highly recommend you cancel, and find somewhere cheaper. I highly recommend this place.
