  1. Yes!  The death road (camino de muerte) is awesome fun, La Paz is full of mountain bike operators that will take you mountain biking down it.  It is called that for a reason but, it's narrow, steep and clings to the side of a mountain with sheer drops off the side, and prone to landslides so if you're planning on doing it be careful . . . something like 40 people have died mountain biking down it and many more have died driving, there's one bit where you can look over the edge and see a bus that has gone over . . . guess that's why not many vehicles use it these days, they built an alternative route and the road is often blocked by landslides anyway.  If you're going to do it just make sure that you go with a good company with good equipment and guides etc, when I went I did it with downhill madness and they were pretty good.

  2. No actually there hasnt been a recorded case of travalers going to bolivia.   HA HA ya the death rode is crazy it looks really scary from everything i have seen.  PS dont drive it

  3. Yes, I have been to Bolivia and I have travelled the "road of death" which was supposedly the world's most dangerous road.   It is the stretch from the summit to Coroico on the La Paz-Yungas highway.   There is a new road to Coroico and the traffic does not usually follow this road now.  There are mountain bike tours that still do however.
